Abstract

Sub-theme

6. Innovation for Water Governance and Management

Topic

6-4. Integrated river basin management

Body

The assessment and regulation of water resources system resilience is one of the important ways to mitigate water resources crisis and avoid water resources risk. Based on the perspective of complex system, combined with the connotation of water resources system resilience, the comprehensive evaluation index system of water resources system resilience is constructed from the multiple attributes of water resources and the three essential characteristics (resistance, resilience and adaptability) of water resources system resilience; The projection pursuit model based on the sparrow algorithm is used to calculate the resilience value of the water resources system of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in 2010-2019; Based on the quantitative measurement of the resilience of water resources system, the driving force analysis of the spatial distribution pattern of the resilience of water resources system in the Yangtze River economic belt was carried out by using geographic detectors, and the main regulatory factors were found. The results show that: (1) In space, the resilience of water resources system in the Yangtze River economic belt is the best in the west, the second in the east, the last in the middle and better in the south than in the north. (2) In terms of time, the resilience of water resources system in the Yangtze River Economic Belt fluctuates but shows a rising trend as a whole. (3) The related factors of water ecology and water environment sub-system are always in the front rank in the influence of water resources system resilience, in the sub-system of water economy, the influence of three indexes, i. e. per capita water supply, water supply modulus and the proportion of industrial wastewater treatment investment to GDP, is increasing gradually. Based on the analysis of water resources system resilience and control factors in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the water resources system resilience in the Yangtze River Economic Belt are put forward.
