RESUMO
A falta de tratamento do esgoto doméstico é um dos principais problemas hídricos identificados no Brasil. Em média, daquilo que se usa de água, trata-se e elimina-se as impurezas na ordem de 15% ou, no máximo, 20%. Sendo assim, é necessário estabelecer um plano estratégico para o tratamento do esgoto. Este trabalho tem como objetivo elaborar e dimensionar o Sistema Individual de Tratamento de Esgoto Doméstico (SITED-08) para os municípios com população de até 20.000 habitantes, ou pequenas aglomerações urbanas. Além disto, o sistema prevê programas estratégicos, onde será definido o marco regulatório, bem como, a capacitação técnica do poder executivo municipal e, a criação de incentivos econômicos, com vistas à implantação do SITED-08, como serviço público. A obra deverá ser realizada a partir de um tanque séptico de câmara múltipla individual, para as águas negras e uma caixa de gordura para as águas cinzas. A partir daí os efluentes líquidos domésticos deverão sofrer um tratamento complementar através de um Filtro Anaeróbio de Fluxo Ascendente, um clorador e, após sumidouro, para que sua infiltração ocorra diretamente no solo, ou lançado no sistema de esgoto pluvial.

ABSTRACT
The lack of domestic sewage treatment is one of the main hydrical problems identified in Brazil. In average, in the amount of water that is used, only 15% to 20% is treated and have its impurities removed. So, its necessary to establish an strategical plan to treat the sewage. This paper have as a goal to elaborate and dimensionate the Individual System of Sewage Treatment (ISST-08) to cities with up to 20.000 inhabitants, or small urban agglomerations. Beyond that, the system foresee strategical programs, where will be defined the regulatory mark, as well as, the technical training of the municipal executive power and, the creation of economical stimulus, with purpose to deploy the ISST-08, as a public service. The work should be done from a septic tank multiple individual camera for the black water and a grease trap for greywater. So the domestic wastewater will undergo a further treatment by an upflow anaerobic filter, and a chlorinator, after sink so that its infiltration occurs directly into the ground or thrown in the storm sewer system.
