From January 8, 2023, China no longer conducts nucleic acid tests and quarantine for all inbound travelers.

From April 29 on, all inbound travelers can show COVID-19 antigen tests results taken within 48 hours before boarding flights instead of nucleic acid test results, Mao said at a daily press briefing.

International travelers are advised to read the latest notices of Chinese Embassies and Consulates in the residential country on the adjustment to facilitate traveling.
