Registration: cost / options & accommodation

Registration is mandatory to attend or present at the Congress. Until the 15 July 2008 you may benefit from the early* registration fees of 500 € for non-members, 400 € for IWRA members** and 250 € for students. A daily tariff is also available at 200 € per day.

PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION includes

  • Admission to all of the main sessions of the XIIIth World Water Congress from 1-4 September 2008;
  • Admission to all related special sessions and side events;
  • Congress proceedings;
  • A welcome kit with programme and documentation;
  • Morning and afternoon coffee/tea breaks during the four Congress days;
  • Welcome reception and cultural event.

SPOUSES AND PARTNERS

Spouses and partners are also encouraged to attend the event for a special tariff of 150 €.

This includes:

  • Welcome cocktail
  • Congress cultural event
  • A guided visit of Montpellier
  • Tram and bus travelpass
  • Entry to the Fabre Museum

 

The National Organising Committee is endeavouring to make the Congress a pleasant and convenient experience. Additional services have been organised for a supplementary fee and may be reserved during the standard Congress registration process including lunches and accommodation.

LUNCHES

For those who would like to discover the Montpellier’s culinary choices, the Congress is located a short walk to the city centre where a wide range of dining is available to suit all budgets from international fast food to high quality French dining.

For those who want to make the most of the Congress, buffet style lunches with quality foods from our Mediterranean caterers are available daily at the Congress facilities. Note that these buffet lunches must be reserved in advance during the participant registration process and are at an additional cost of 25 Euros per day.

ACCOMMODATION

A range of accommodation options have been made available from 2 star to 4 star comfort levels at selected hotels within a short distance and with easy access to the Congress site. Please reserve these as soon as possible to ensure availability either directly on our website or by returning a completed reservation form by fax, post or email.

 

* After 31 May 2008, the registration fees will rise by 100 € for all categories.
