Cassandra was a Trojan priestess of Apollo who according to Greek mythology was cursed to utter prophecies which were never believed, but which always proved to be true.
This publication is an invitation to all those who are involved in redressing the issues that have featured in the first two editions of the Cassandra Conference held in 2021 (1) and in 2023 (2) : The socio-political consequences of climate change principally related to public health, migration, gender inequality and the ominous possibility of conflict. These constitute four strongly interrelated crises which demand the development of public awareness, comprehension and the improvement of broad, flexible, intersectoral approaches capable of demonstrably providing replicable solutions whilst supporting transboundary governance.
