Water security is vital to ensuring a just transition from today’s realities toward a viable social, economic and environmental future for all where no one is left behind. To this end, the partners of the Just Transitions for Water Security (JTWS) are pioneering new approaches to country-focused collaboration among CSOs, private sector and government that join policy, finance and collective action. In a complementary and synchronized way, the partners aim to embed water in national climate plans and policies, accelerate financing flows and investment attractiveness, and ensure sustainable water and climate risk management in global supply chains.
