The anchored flexible diaphragm wall, built with plastic concrete, was identified as the most effective solution to ensure deep waterproofing of the Boulaouane CFRD foundation. This alternative combines very low permeability, deformability compatible with the surrounding alluvium, and cost-efficiency. It is also recommended to:

• Perform additional in-situ tests (e.g., Lefranc permeability tests) to refine design assumptions and potentially optimize the diaphragm wall anchorage.
• Use tele-levels to monitor dam settlements during operation.
• Install two piezometers (upstream and downstream of the diaphragm wall) to evaluate its efficiency.
