Abstract

About the W4HL Project

WASH for healthy lives (W4HL) project implemented in two states in (North and South) Nigeria.

We sort to explore the use of structured community engagement to protect ground water use and its management for optimal community health.

Through the W4HL project led to significant sanitation behaviour improvements (Reduction in open defecation & use of VIP toilets),  sustaining groundwater resilience and health outcomes requires continuous community engagement and robust monitoring systems.
