Abstract

The 1959 Agreement

• Agreement: Egypt and Sudan

• Purpose: Manage and Regulate Nile River flow.

• Joint Technical Commission established by both governments, Funded jointly, meets in Cairo or Khartoum

• The agreement took into consideration the rights of other riparian countries
