ABSTRACT
The Estuary Complex Mundaú Manguaba (CELMM) located in Alagoas well as nursery for many aquatic species is habitat of the shellfish sururu (Mytella Charruana), a species typical of the region and source of food and income for thousands of families along the riverbanks. Its occurrence is directly influenced by the hydrodynamic patterns and concentration of salinity in the estuary. This study aims to estimate the influence of hydrodynamics and salinity in the production of mussels and their points of occurrence in CELMM using a two-dimensional hydrodynamic and water quality. Through the responses obtained by the model from you can indicate the levels of salinity and hydrodynamics of the estuary. These results will contribute to the implementation of mitigation measures aimed at sustainable utilization and CELMM offered by the addition of information about the behavior of the mussels.
