Abstract

Abstract:

This paper aims at providing a simulation and quantitative management of water resources in the rural settlement "Fazenda Santa Helena" in order to grant the request for the use of water covering sustainable development, rational use and conservation of water ecosystem. For this purpose it was necessary to survey the dam topography of reservation quota for the generation of curves-area-volume, and the survey of quantitative variation of available water over a year to obtain grants for multiple uses of water in the settlement. Due to the location of the spillway and the need to ensure the ecological flow, the volume available for use, 1153 m3 , covers only a quarter of the total found. The minimum performance required for the irrigation system would be 69% using 100% flow bestowable permitted by law.
