ABSTRACT
In December 2009, sparked to "Volunteer Network Tietê Cabeceiras Basin - SP", from a project divided into five stages based methodologies for environmental education, research, planning and teaching-learning praxis. Steps were articulated and integrated with theoretical and practical elements, which met the expectations of volunteers and objectives to influence the management of water resources in the region. This Volunteer Network, which is formed by university students, graduates and post graduates in various fields of knowledge, promoted the mobilization of about 15,000 people for the recovery of socioenvironmental quality in the basin. Currently the Web expands and enhances its various connections, using, among other methods, the implementation of small environmental projects distributed over the watershed. Is stimulated, thereby strengthening and consolidation of its shares and new opportunities for direct influence on policy and technical sustainability of the water.
