IWRA Membership Grant Recipients – 2024

The International Water Resources Association (IWRA) is pleased to announce the recipients of the IWRA Membership Grant programme for 2024.

An IWRA Membership Grant offers a free 12-month Silver membership to water enthusiasts from anywhere in the world, following an application process.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of our Gold & Silver Institutional Members, we are offering Membership Grants to 28 applicants this year.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our Gold Institutional Members: IWRA China Chapter,  The Energy and Water Agency of Malta,  Société wallonne des eaux, and Water Resources Management Authority (WARMA)  for sponsoring six participants each, and our Silver Institutional Members: International Network of Basin Organizations and Office français de la biodiversité,  for sponsoring two participants each.

The sponsored winners of the Silver annual membership will run from April, 2024 to April, 2025.  The membership grant will include all the relevant benefits associated with an IWRA Silver Membership. These include:

  • voting rights,

  • ability to promote publications/achievements in IWRA’s quarterly newsletters, and through the “Member Spotlight” social media campaigns.
