The Role of the Task Force Bureau
The IWRA Water Security Task Force, led by the WSB, plays a crucial role in positioning IWRA as a key participant in critical water security discussions and debates. As a member of the WSB, you will have the unique opportunity to identify topics of interest at the intersection of science and policy, collaborating with experts from diverse backgrounds to gain deeper insights into water-related issues and devise innovative solutions. Additionally, you will actively contribute to offering policy advice at the country, regional, and international levels.
The Task Force has established dynamic working groups (WG) focusing on distinct aspects of water security, each with clear mandates, activities, and deliverables associated with specific timelines. How to Join the Task Force
Ensure you have an active Silver/Gold IWRA membership, although Bronze members are also welcome to participate in the task force activities. To join, please email your expression of interest to office@iwra.org, including the following details:
- Your name, email, location, affiliation, and IWRA membership number (If you are not a members, sign up here to become a member of our community.)
- A brief resume outlining your expertise and interests in water-related issues
- Specify which working group(s) align best with your interests and expertise
