Aubrey Crosby is an Affiliate Faculty member in the Department of Writing at Grand Valley State University. She researches news media discourse and the representation of protest and social movements in Western press. She is particularly interested in matters of social, gender, and/or political ideology and representation and how journalists prime their audiences to interpret social events and participants.

She received her B.A. from Siena Heights University, her M.A. from the University of Toledo, and her Ph.D. from Kent State University.
